Getting here
- Ferries and buses operate regularly towards Taronga Zoo. Last ferry to the zoo leaves Circular Quay at 4.52pm.
- Some road closures will be in place for general traffic. See the road closure map and real-time traffic updates at livetraffic.com
- Attendees are encouraged to leave the car at home as onsite and nearby street parking is very limited.
Leaving
- Pedestrian diversions will be in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you leave may be different to how you arrived. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
- After the fireworks limited ferries to Circular Quay will leave Taronga Zoo wharf at 12:54am and 1:54am. Buses will run regularly from Taronga Zoo towards Military Road where you can connect with other bus services.
- Pedestrian diversions are in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you arrive, may be different to how you get home. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
