Getting here

  • No parking available, public transport is the best way to get around on New Year’s Eve, with thousands of additional services running.
  • The closest train station is Milsons Point (limited services), North Sydney and Sydney Metro Victoria Cross Station.
  • Buses will not run to Milsons Point, bus passengers will need to walk from North Sydney Station.
  • Milsons Point ferry wharf will close from 3pm with very limited services operating after the midnight fireworks.
  • Plenty of additional trains and buses will be operating. Follow the directions of NSW Police and staff on site.
  • Major roads will close from 5pm, leave the car at home. See road closure information.

  • The closest train stations are Milsons Point (limited services), North Sydney and Sydney Metro Victoria Cross.
  • Milsons Point station will have crowd control measures in place after the fireworks, be patient and follow the directions of staff on site.
  • Additional trains and buses will be operating. Follow the directions of NSW Police and staff on site.
  • Pedestrian diversions are in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you arrive, may be different to how you get home. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
